My name is Emily Marlene Frank RN BSN. I am 21 years old and I just recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with a minor in Family and Human Development. I was a Barrett, the Honor’s College student and completed my thesis on stress, which was titled “Self-reported Perceptions of Stress in an Undergraduate Baccalaureate Nursing Program.”
While completing my degree, I was also highly involved in the College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation. I served as the secretary for the College Council of Nursing Students and the class representative for the Student Nurses Association.
I am highly motivated to achieve a higher education, and am therefore currently completing my second Bachelors in Health Science at Arizona State University. After completion of this degree, I hope to attend an osteopathic medical school.
I am currently employed as an RN on a medical/surgical and telemetry unit. This position is allowing me to gain a solid foundation of medical knowledge. I hope to grow and develop as a nurse and one day work in an acute care setting such as the E.R. or trauma bay.
